Collaboration for Collective Transformation in Healthcare

Last week marked the official kickoff for the project "Innovations for Close Care." Representatives from the business sector, academia, the region, municipalities, and citizens of Halland gathered at Leap for Life's premises at Halmstad University to align on the project and establish a common goal.

It was a positive and energizing afternoon as individuals from various fields with diverse expertise came together. New connections were made, ideas flowed, and laughter filled the room. It became evident that it is in the interaction between different stakeholders that we can collectively create real change.

Project managers Loisa Cedergren and Emma Börjesson passionately talk about the project.

Approaching Future Challenges with Innovation

The purpose of the project is to address the increasing challenges within health, care, and social services. To accelerate the pace of change, Leap for Life, together with Region Halland, the municipalities of Halland, and the innovation hub HighFive, will work to strengthen the innovation capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises within health, care, and social services.

The project aims to support businesses in developing products and services that contribute to a more person-centered and coordinated care - all based on real needs and conditions.

A big thank you to all participants who contributed to making the kickoff so successful and inspiring. Together, we will work to create an even more efficient healthcare system for the residents of Western Sweden.

"Innovations for Close Care" is made possible thanks to funding from Region Halland and ERUF via the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket).
